UKIP member quits over anti-Islam postings
UKIP's county councillor has quit due to sharing offensive material about Muslims on Facebook.
The United Kingdom Independence Party’s (UKIP) county councillor Eric Kitson has resigned due to sharing offensive material about Muslims on his Facebook page.
Kitson, 59, quit his post at the Worcestershire County Council seat that he had won in recent weeks.
Even though Kitson denies being a racist, he claims that he shared cartoons and jokes about Muslims on the social network to show how “disgusting” they are.
Since this incident, he is said to have apologised and mentioned that it was “stupid” for him to share the messages, which were posted last year on his Facebook account.
According to the UKIP chairman for Dudley and Halesown, Bill Etheridge, an internal investigation had been launched by the party and officials were thinking about Kitson’s membership at UKIP.
"Ukip does not condone hate, racism or prejudice. We totally condemn those things because it's not what the party is about. In fact it is the total opposite of what the party is about," Etheridge claimed.
This comes as UKIP is being condemned by critics as a racist far-right party, which has attracted much support from the fascist, Islamophobic group, which calls itself the English Defence League (EDL).
BGH/MOL/HE
Trust us, we're familiar with the Nazi antics of the UKIP. But it's disingenuous of Press Tv to claim the high ground in the racist war when most of writing staff are Holocaust Deniers and worse.
The Viewpoint section is dominated by an article by Gordon Duff suggesting Jews, er, Israelis, are responsible for most conspiracies pushed on FOX News:
A screen of the full page is instructive, showing many individuals with a history of antisemite bias:
May 16 20:54US media are indulged in conspiracy while 95% of the media managers are either Israeli citizens or qualify for Israeli citizenship, writes Gordon Duff
Gordon Duff: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Veterans_Today#Criticism
'Dr" Kevin Barrett: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kevin_Barrett#Jews_and_Zionism
The Anti-Defamation League characterizes Gordon Duff, the VT senior editor and chairman of the board, as a "anti-Semitic conspiracist." In a July 2010 essay on VT, Duff asserted that the "five dancing Israelis" arrested on 9/11 were part of a "team of Israeli intelligence agents" who remotely guided the planes into the World Trade Center with the knowledge of "top members of America's military." He added that America's security continues to be threatened "by a nefarious and disloyal group of Americans who have dual U.S./Israeli citizenship and who control government organizations and private companies." In a separate piece, he wrote that "the Israeli lobby" is "the most powerful and ruthless group in the world."[3] The Southern Poverty Law Center also writes that Veterans Today propagates conspiracies about Israel orchestrating the September 11 attacks as well as about Holocaust Denial.[4]
The Anti-Defamation League specifically cites Barrett as one of the leading promoters of anti-Semitic 9/11 conspiracy theories as part of a "network of anti-Israel conspiracists who endorse and reinforce each other's work" who "blame Israel for numerous nefarious deeds and false flag operations." along with Gordon Duff, who runs Veterans Today, and Alan Sabrosky.[32]Webster Tarpley: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Webster_Tarpley
Critics of Tarpley note that he still sells copies of the book on the Bush family he co-authored while working for conspiracy theorist and antisemitic cult leader Lyndon LaRouche.
Looks like we have a little Anti Semite Party here, with cult involvement, no less.
The ADL has a good doc on Press TV's general practices:

Press TV, Iran's government-run English language satellite news network, has emerged as the Iranian government's primary propaganda tool to promote a wide range of pernicious anti-Semitic conspiracy theories in English to a worldwide audience. And these same folks saw fit to pass judgement on the UKIP Nazi shindig?
Operated by Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), a significant amount of Press TV programing provides a platform for American anti-Semites, conspiracy theorists and Holocaust deniers, who help amplify the Iranian regime's hateful messages.
The station not only misleadingly presents these hatemongers as serious and credible "experts" or "analysts" on international economic and political issues, but also enables their bigoted perspectives to reach a significant new audience.
Let's run down the cast of conspiracy connected Nazis the ADL has pointed out, plus our colorful cult Nazi:
David Duke: "I have videos on the whole war on Iraq and how the Zionists orchestrated and created this war in the media, the government and international finance."
Franklin Lamb: "Israel's dual loyalty agents, as well as more fair-minded American Jewish voters, have historically intimidated and influenced US presidents seeking reelection, especially those in a tight race, with various financial and political threats and rewards."

Gordon Duff: [see above]
Ismail Salami: ""Western media have ratcheted up an anti-Iran campaign at the behest of their Zionist masters…"
Jim Dean: ""Israelis always have their proxies draft legislation. It is their way of reminding everybody in Congress who runs the show on their issues…"
Kevin Barrett: "The US dollar is not the US dollar. It's the Zionist dollar. The US dollar is issued by the Federal Reserve, a private corporation owned by the biggest 'American' banks. But those banks are not really American. The leading banksters who create American dollars out of nothing, backed by nothing, are ethnically Jewish and primarily loyal to the state of Israel."

Mike Harris: ""You have to realize Israel has been operating death squads in the United States since Gabrielle Giffords and Judge Roll were shot in Tuscan. There have been other incidents as the Colorado shooting, that was again Israeli death squads operating in the US… That is all it is about, it happens every time; it is Israelis acting out and trying to revenge upon the United States."
Also: Mike Harris, Sandy Hook Conspiracy Theorist, Has Neo-Nazi Ties
From white supremacists to conspiracy theorists, extremist circles have been promoting Mike Harris’ claim that Israel is behind the Sandy Hook Massacre. Harris was given a platform to disseminate his hateful views on Press TV, the Iranian government’s English-language propaganda network.
Harris has ties to members of the National Socialist Movement (NSM), the country’s largest neo-Nazi group. Harris was an associate of J.T. Ready, a former NSM member and an anti-immigrant activist who shot and killed five people in May 2012, before killing himself.
In October 2009, Harris attended an NSM rally in Riverside, California, along with Ready (see photo). Harris joined NSM members for a group shot at the Riverside rally. He is in the back row, the fourth person from the left. Ready is the second person from the left in the same row, holding his hand in a “Sieg Heil” salute.

Webster Tarpley:from this website: "When questioned about his past, Tarpley attempted to shrug off his quarter of a century sojourn inside the intensely anti-Semitic LaRouche movement (where he rose to the highest leadership levels) as a trivial mistake, and buttressed his case with self-serving lies as outrageous as any concocted by his former master."
[also see above]
All are conspiracy theorists, including the Tarpley guy with connections to the Neo Nazi Larouche cult(from http://lyndonlarouche.org/fascismafterword.htm ):
In fact the LaRouche movement's fascist character and its dangerous (non-kook) side were not really difficult to see. As early as 1976-77, recognition that LaRouche had gone fascist could be found in places as diverse as the newsletter of the Christian Anti-Communist Crusade and the Op-Ed page of The Washington Post. In 1980, Lionel Abel suggested in Dissent that LaRouche was America's "first serious fascist," while the Anti-Defamation League's Michigan spokesman, Richard Lobenthal, described the NCLC in 1981 as the "closest thing to an American fascist party that we've got." Several writers focused on the neo-Nazi elements in LaRouche's ideology.
If this viewpoint—easily proven by LaRouche's writings, his alliances with ex-Nazis and international neo-fascists, and a simple comparison of his tactics with those of classical fascism—had been adopted and widely publicized by the major media and other opinion makers, LaRouche would have been stopped dead in his tracks in the early 1980s. There would have been no chats with National Security Council officials, no alliance with top Teamsters, no deals with shadowy GOP operatives, no grassroots candidates' movement of significant proportions, no passive sufferance by the Democratic Party, and certainly no Illinois primary victories in 1986. All that was needed was for opinion leaders to draw the same clear line they had drawn against the Klan, name LaRouche for what he really was, and declare his movement beyond the bounds of decency.
Most folks think of conspiracy theorists as a bunch of harmless loonies who think little green men visit planet earth to mutilate cattle or worse. Cranks like your Uncle Bob who wears tinfoil when he goes out to water the begonias in case "they" are watching.
But this cartoon conspiracy act can be a symptom of the disordered thoughts following brainwashing. According Larouche cult expert and scholar Dennis King, the "loony act" is a front for something more sinister operating in cult groups that can be accurately described as Neo Nazi fronts(from http://lyndonlarouche.org/fascismafterword.htm :
" Suddenly the fact that U.S. and West German ultra-rightist networks had nurtured LaRouche and provided him with ideas, money, and allies (not to mention weapons training) for the previous ten years became too controversial to dwell on. Newspapers avoided giving offense to the right by adopting the neutral term "political extremist" or by saying LaRouche had a "mixed" philosophy. The New York Times called him "eccentric" and a "conspiracy theorist" while announcing that he somehow defied classification in conventional terms. Meanwhile most of the media promoted the kook theory, by reminding the public over and over that LaRouche believes the Queen of England pushes drugs....That was all kinda dumb. Maybe iffn that Nazi cult group had been shut down, we wouldn't be playin catch-up today. And this Tarpley loon wouldn't be giving atta boys to the Press TV Nazis.
But behind the media's "soft" view of LaRouche there was often the rankest hypocrisy. While newspapers portrayed him as a kook they made editorial judgments based on the assumption that he was indeed potentially dangerous—so dangerous that his activities must be concealed from the public lest the truth help his movement grow. Jerome Chasen of the National Jewish Community Relations Advisory Council, in a 1986 memorandum on LaRouche's Illinois electoral victories, raised questions about this bizarre "quarantine" policy. Inquiries by the NJCRC, he wrote, had uncovered that "the media in Illinois did know that [Democratic primary candidates] Fairchild and Hart were LaRouchites, and chose not to headline this information, based on a judgment that to do so would give LaRouche a platform in statewide politics he did not deserve.""
To recap: a collection of Holocaust Deniers and Nazis from the West are being paid by a Middle Eastern foreign power to spread Nazi propaganda on Foreign air waves?
That just don't sound like something likely to end well. Certainly not in this blogpost:

Expect we'll be hearin about yall sooner than we want....
Final Note: Sure, things are pretty fucked up in the Middle East and Western powers have got a lot to blame in that history. But ain't no way any news network fronting Nazis is part of the solution.
A news network fronting Nazis IS PART OF THE PROBLEM.
Press TV is exploiting Arabs to push a Nazi agenda.
